  • 2 fillets 2 salmon fillets, 6oz each Choose fresh salmon for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp 1 tsp paprika Can be substituted with fresh herbs for a lighter flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp 1 tbsp melted butter Use to grease the baking dish.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with a bit of melted butter.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the dish, skin-side down, and drizzle with the remaining melted butter.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle this spice blend evenly over the salmon.
Cooking
  1. Bake the salmon for about 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  2. For a crispy top, switch your oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  3. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
