Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Steak (sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon) Choose a tender cut for best results.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Adds richness and flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Provides depth and complements the butter.
Seasonings
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning Can use store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential for bringing out flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Essential for balancing the dish.
Optional Add-Ins
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh herbs (parsley or green onions), chopped For garnish and freshness.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Enhances flavors.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes For added spiciness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
  2. Once melted, add the seasoned steak cubes in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned.
  3. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes for medium-rare.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium-low, push the steak to the side, and add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the empty side of the skillet. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Stir the garlic butter into the steak bites until well coated and cook together for an additional minute.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon as desired. Serve hot.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking and let the steak rest before serving. Adjust spices to your taste preferences.
