Preparation
- Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of butter.
- Once melted, add the seasoned steak cubes in a single layer and sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Flip and cook for another 2 minutes for medium-rare.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low, push the steak to the side, and add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the empty side of the skillet. Sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Stir the garlic butter into the steak bites until well coated and cook together for an additional minute.
Serving
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon as desired. Serve hot.
Notes
For best results, don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking and let the steak rest before serving. Adjust spices to your taste preferences.
