Ingredients
  

Dressing
  • cup white balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
Salad
  • 1 box bowtie pasta
  • 8 ounces mini mozzarella balls
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • Fresh basil (chopped)
  • Balsamic glaze For drizzling before serving.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.

Method
 

Cooking Pasta
  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
Preparing the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the white balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper.
Mixing Salad Ingredients
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the cooled pasta, mini mozzarella balls, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped basil.
Dressing the Salad
  1. Pour the dressing over your pasta mixture. Gently toss to ensure everything is well combined and coated.
Seasoning
  1. Taste your salad and adjust with additional salt, pepper, or balsamic glaze if desired.
Chilling
  1. For optimal flavor, cover and let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add a splash of olive oil or balsamic vinegar to revive flavors before serving again. Consider adding proteins like grilled chicken or shrimp for a heartier meal.
