Ingredients

For the Cookies
  • 1 box cake mix (strawberry flavor) Use a standard 15.25-ounce box.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs Ensure the eggs are at room temperature.
For Dipping
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Semi-sweet or dark chocolate work well.
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles Optional, for decorating.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir until the mixture is well-combined and smooth.
  3. Using a cookie scoop or your hands, form balls of dough (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Dipping and Serving
  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  2. Dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
  3. If desired, add colorful sprinkles on top of the chocolate-dipped side.
  4. Place the dipped cookies on a baking sheet lined with wax paper to let the chocolate set. Once it's hard, enjoy your delicious creation!

Notes

For best results, use quality chocolate for melting and avoid overbaking the cookies. You can experiment with different flavor extracts for added taste.
