  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips optional

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until fully coated.
  5. If adding nuts or chocolate chips, fold them in now.
Baking
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the mixture evenly on the sheet.
  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through until crispy and fragrant.
  3. Let cool completely on the baking sheet.
Storage
  1. Transfer cooled cereal into an airtight container for storage.
  2. It can last up to two weeks.
