  • 4 pieces Fresh corn on the cob Choose plump, fresh corn for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For coating the corn.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper To taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Melted, for drizzling.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice For a zesty finish.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro (optional) For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Shuck the fresh corn and remove the silk. Rinse the corn under cold water.
  2. Place the corn cob upright on a cutting board and slice it into quarters, creating rib-like pieces.
Seasoning
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the corn pieces until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and grill the corn ribs for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred.
  2. Alternatively, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and roast the corn for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Finishing Touch
  1. Once cooked, drizzle the corn ribs with melted butter and lime juice. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro before serving.
