Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 whole ripe lemons
  • 1 cup coconut milk (canned or carton)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • ½ cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • as needed Ice cubes
  • as needed Lime slices and mint leaves for garnish optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Roll the lemons on a cutting board to release their juices. Cut them in half and juice them, making sure to remove any seeds.
  2. In a blender, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, coconut milk, cold water, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  3. After blending, taste your lemonade. If it’s too tart, add a little more sugar until it suits your palate.
  4. If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any lemon pulp.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour your creamy coconut milk Brazilian lemonade over the ice, and garnish with lime slices and mint leaves if desired.
  6. Sit back, sip, and savor your tropical escape!

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to 2 days. Give it a quick stir or shake before serving, as the coconut milk may separate.
