Ingredients
  

For the Strawberry Purée
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries Plus extra for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon water For blending
For the Latte
  • 1 cup milk of your choice Dairy, almond, oat, or coconut
  • 1-2 teaspoons matcha powder Adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup Optional for sweetness
  • as needed Ice cubes For serving

Method
 

Prepare the Strawberry Purée
  1. In a blender, add the fresh strawberries and a tablespoon of water. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a chunky texture, pulse gently. Set aside.
Mix the Matcha
  1. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with a little water (about 2 tablespoons) to create a smooth paste. Make sure there are no lumps.
Combine Ingredients
  1. In a glass, add ice cubes to your desired level. Pour the strawberry purée over the ice, followed by the milk of your choice.
Layer the Matcha
  1. Gently pour or spoon the whisked matcha over the milk and strawberries, allowing the colors to arc beautifully.
Sweeten to Taste
  1. If desired, drizzle honey or agave syrup for added sweetness. You can lightly stir to mix or leave the layers distinct for a visually appealing drink.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or a sprig of mint. Serve chilled and enjoy the refreshing taste.
