Ingredients
  

For the Crust
  • 30 pieces Oreo cookies (regular)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Cake
  • 2 quarts your favorite ice cream (softened) Consider various flavors.
  • 1 cup whipped topping (optional) Can omit if desired.
  • 1 cup Additional Oreos for garnish Or any toppings you prefer.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a food processor, crush the 30 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix the crumbs with the melted butter until well combined.
  3. Press this mixture tightly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create a solid crust.
Layering
  1. Scoop the softened ice cream onto the Oreo crust and spread it evenly.
  2. For a swirl effect, mix in some crushed Oreos.
Freezing
  1. Cover the pan with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until the ice cream layer is firm.
Topping
  1. Once firm, remove the cake from the springform pan and spread the whipped topping over the top.
  2. Garnish with crushed Oreos or other toppings as desired.
Serving
  1. Slice and serve immediately for the best experience.

Notes

Store any leftovers in the freezer for up to one week, covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container.
