Preparation
- Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cinnamon roll dough package, typically around 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Open your package of cinnamon roll dough and carefully unroll it.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese filling over the entire surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle your fresh raspberries over the cream cheese layer.
- Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log shape and slice the dough into equal pieces, about 1-inch thick.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving a little space between each one for rising.
Baking
- Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Icing
- While your sweet rolls are baking, mix the powdered sugar, milk, lemon juice, and a splash of vanilla extract in a bowl to create icing.
- Once the rolls are baked and slightly cooled, drizzle the icing over the top and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh raspberries and high-quality cream cheese for the best flavor. You can prepare these rolls ahead of time by refrigerating or freezing them before baking.
