Ingredients

For the Rolls
  • 1 package cinnamon roll dough Use store-bought dough for convenience.
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries Can substitute with other berries if desired.
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it is at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Icing
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cinnamon roll dough package, typically around 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Open your package of cinnamon roll dough and carefully unroll it.
  4. Evenly spread the cream cheese filling over the entire surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle your fresh raspberries over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log shape and slice the dough into equal pieces, about 1-inch thick.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving a little space between each one for rising.
Baking
  1. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Icing
  1. While your sweet rolls are baking, mix the powdered sugar, milk, lemon juice, and a splash of vanilla extract in a bowl to create icing.
  2. Once the rolls are baked and slightly cooled, drizzle the icing over the top and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh raspberries and high-quality cream cheese for the best flavor. You can prepare these rolls ahead of time by refrigerating or freezing them before baking.
