Preparation
  1. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and bake in a rectangular pan.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely, then crumble it into a large bowl.
  3. Mix about half of the chocolate frosting into the cake crumbs until you achieve a moldable consistency.
  4. Shape the mixture into your desired monster form and insert lollipop sticks.
  5. Chill the shaped cakesicles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Dipping and Decoration
  1. Melt the green, white, and black candy melts separately as per package instructions.
  2. Dip each cakesicle into the melted candy coating, ensuring they are fully covered and allow excess to drip off.
  3. While the coating is still wet, decorate with contrasting colors to create eyes and mouths.
  4. Let the decorated cakesicles set on parchment paper until the coating has solidified.
Serving
